Question by Johnny Depper: Which sex is more harsher and critical towards body image - men or women?
I ask this because we men have always been made to believe we are too picky, too judgemental about women's body but I have noticed that it's actually women who are much more critical. Have a look at this question for instance:

Most guys are saying she looks hot and have positive comments, whereas the girls are more critical and not saying positive things like the guys are. For me, that says a lot. So I think it is unfair to make out guys are the ones who are the reason for women's low self-esteem.

BAMMIT: it may be a small sample but even in such a small sample you can see a huge differences between the sexes. Also, I have noticed the same pattern in many other questions as well. In other words - women being critical of other women but guys being positive towards the women's body image. You must have noticed that women like to nitpick other women a LOT - you see this in the magazines (nitpicking female celebrities in gossip magazines women read) and also women nitpick female celebs attending red carpet ceremonies (award shows).
