Caught impersonating a convicted US sex offender on facebook?
I'm English. A few months ago, I stumbled upon a US documentary about sex offenders. There was one guy the documentary focused on and interviewed throughout, who I became quite obsessed with, due to his charisma and psychopathic status. Only his first name was given, and I began searching the sex offender registry for the state in which he was incarcerated. I couldn't find him (was he released now and living somewhere other than the state he was incarcerated in?); but there was a guy who looked nothing like the man in the documantary but shared the same first name. I used the man's full name, along with a screen print of the man in the documentary, to create a facebook page.
So, basically, I used a man's picture from a TV documentary, along with the name of an unrelated sex offender who shared the same first name, to create the profile. I had no details on the profile, just the picture, and added a couple of friends for a laugh and that was about it. A couple of randomers added me as well... I didn't use it to insult anybody or to really do anything with it. The account just lay there gathering dust.
Today, I tried to login, and the account was locked as of two days ago. I was told that the account had been accessed from the United States. I was shown a map which indicated that the login occured in the state where the guy from the sex offender registry lived. An IP was given, and after looking it up, it appears to be a government IP. Perhaps there was concern as to whether a convicted sex offender was using facebook... but then the picture was of a completely different guy. But then, maybe it was the guy in the picture that had drawn attention, not the name, who knows.
What do you think is likely to happen? Could the police investigate me? I know I used "impersonated" in the title here but I haven't truly impersonated anyone as I merely used an image from a television documentary with an unrelated name (unrelated surname, anyway). I commited no immoral activity through the account. I'm less concerned about legal action (I'm not exactly McKinnon and haven't directly impersonated anyone), and more concerned about a long stay in a mental hospital. I've been treated for bipolar and psychosis for years and don't want to go back there... my shrink will be appalled. I know the whole thing was stupid and I'll never do anything like it again.

How come lesbians are more masculine looking than straight women?
On average, they are. I am not saying that the most feminine lesbians are not as feminine as the most feminine straight women, but I am saying that the most masculine lesbians are more masculine than the most masculine straight women.
To prove e wrong, could you please show me straight women who are as masculine as Gertrude Stein, Phranc, k.d Lang or Lesli Feinberg.

This is the conclusion paragraph of my paper on same sex marriage, which I'm arguing for. I wanted this to be a strong ending. How is it? What should I change?
We come to the turning point in history where people are now being given the chance to change the ban against same sex marriage. Many Americans have a skewed idea of what a homosexual is, when really they are not any different than everyone else, accept for their sexual orientation. There is no biological evidence that homosexual individuals are abnormal or any less of a responsible parent as heterosexuals, but people continue to believe these ideas. In states were same sex marriage is illegal, same sex couples have a feeling of shame following them. People shouldnât feel shameful about their sexual identity, which is innate and natural, shame should be director towards those who have commit serious crimes. Our nation has come a long way from slavery and racism, but intolerance still exists. Homosexuals are fully functioning human being, capable of raising children and having a functional home life. Same sex marriage should not be taken away from two people who want to commit to a relationship with the person they love. We should have the choice to marry the person we love; we should let our children have the choice to marry the person they love; we should support our community and let our fellow citizens have the choice to marry the person they love.

Answer by Zelkova Obviously Steve D is an idiot and doesn't understand the concept of a consensual relationship but your paragraph seems fine. There are a couple places where the grammar could be better but overall it's good :)
